Asa Carlton Announces New ‘Build Your Future’ Scholarship Program

Asa Carlton, Inc., is thrilled to announce it has established a new scholarship program to support students who intend to pursue an education in construction, engineering, or a vocational-related degree or certificate.

The Build Your Future Scholarship, a one-time, $1,000 award, is open to graduating high school seniors pursuing undergraduate study, and is to be used toward educational expenses related to their degree or certificate program. Up to four awards will be granted.

According to Bradley Martin, VP of Operations, the scholarship is one way that Asa Carlton can support and encourage the up-and-coming construction generation. He sees it as a way to establish a commitment to the next wave of construction leaders.

“Providing growth opportunities to the younger generation of our construction workforce is not only a smart investment for the success of our company, but also instrumental to the success of the construction industry on a much larger scale,” says Martin.

Asa Carlton president Nathan Artman echoes that commitment.

“We are so excited to debut this new scholarship program in our local community,” says Artman. “Contributions of this nature are an integral part of the legacy we continue to build within our industry and here at home.”

The scholarship is open to graduating seniors from high schools in Gwinnett, Jackson, Barrow, and Hall counties with a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

Students must plan to enroll, full-time or part-time, in undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the upcoming academic year.

Full eligibility requirements and an online application can be found here. Applications must be submitted in their entirety no later than 11:59 p.m. on April 1st, 2024.
