As director of human resources for Asa Carlton, Vonetta brings an enthusiastic, can-do attitude to work every day. With more than 22 years of experience in all aspects of human resources, Vonetta is the company’s people-person. She ensures all Asa Carlton team members have their needs met and voices heard in the workplace while implementing policies and procedures to foster a safe, healthy work environment. Affectionately known as “Dr. V”, Vonetta began her HR career in 3PL (third-party logistics) and worked in manufacturing for four years before making the transition to the construction industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s of science degree in Human Resource Management from Strayer University in Morrow, GA, as well as a doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Walden University. In 2023, Vonetta earned her Professional in Human Resources-California (PHRca) certification. Her accomplishment serves as a beacon for the entire team, reinforcing the company’s ethos of excellence, continuous learning, and dedication to the highest standards in human resources management.
