Bio: Scott Hester helped launch Asa Carlton in 2003 as a commercial construction firm specializing in retail, hospitality, office, and healthcare interiors. Since then, he has built and maintained the company’s financial practices and procedures to ensure exceptional financial stability for clients, employees, vendors, and subcontractors. While he keeps a close and strategic eye on the company’s financial position to sustain exponential growth, he continues to manage all the company’s banking relationships, as well as insurance and bonding and state licensing programs. Under his leadership, the company has grown into one of the most respected and award-winning contractors in the country, providing critical-path scopes of work for just about any construction initiative, including exterior framing, sheathing, interior framing, drywall, acoustical, flooring, and fixture installations. Prior to launching Asa Carlton, Scott gained extensive experience as a Project Manager and ultimately as the Director of Operations for a national industrial construction firm based out of Atlanta, GA. His particular areas of industry expertise include general industrial and commercial construction, specialty coatings, structural steel, roofing, and industrial insulation. Scott has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Georgia.
